Casita La Luz is a beautifully restored single bedroomed property. Approached by a secluded lane and adjacent to a mature eucalyptus wood, it has a wonderful view south to the Sierra Lujar.
The casita is sunny with french doors leading out from the bedroom to the totally secluded garden and patio. There is plenty of room for sun loungers and a shaded sitting area will keep you cool in the height of summer whilst watching the eagles and the many other birds.
We live on site and will be pleased to assist and advise.

A twenty-minute walk will take you to Orgiva, the true capital of Western Alpujarra. Here one can find many excellent bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks and a bustling market on Thursdays.

Coast / Beach
Costa Tropical beaches are just a thirty-minute drive away; within an hour you can reach a wide variety of small coves and larger resorts.
Skiing
A drive of about an hour and a half will take you to the north side of Sierra Nevada where you can ski from about the end of November till the end of April.
The Area
This part of Andulucia has an enormous variety of things to do. The more popular include walking, bird watching, snowboarding, horse riding, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding and diving. For relaxation one can try reflexology, rekki massage and many other therapies. A short drive will take you up into the famous white villages, further afield is the attractive city of Granada with the world famous Alhambra Palace. One of our guests became hooked on satellite watching in the clear night sky. Another option is just chilling out in beautiful surroundings.
